The course organisers are passionate teachers that want to address the weaknesses in the preparation for the FRCR 2B exam. We feel that many candidates are primarily concerned with the viva component, whilst neglecting the time pressured long cases and rapid reporting components.
Dr Rohit Malliwal
Consultant Radiologist at The Royal London Hospital and Whipps Cross University Hospital specialising in gastrointestinal, trauma and MSK imaging. He is actively involved in research in these areas and has published and presented at international conferences. He is a keen teacher involved in radiology simulation and an Assistant Editor for a number of the RCR RITI modules.
Dr Hardik Patel
Consultant Radiologist at St George’s Hospital specialising in musculoskeletal, trauma and emergency imaging. He is actively involved in teaching having previously held the post of Honorary Lecturer at Imperial College, local teaching hero nominee and current lecturer with St George’s Medical School. He has certified training in lecture-based, small group and one-to-one teaching.
Dr Nirav Patel
Consultant Radiologist at St George’s Hospital specialising in Abdominal and Emergency imaging. His radiology training was based in Southampton, Wessex deanery. He has an interest in innovating the way radiology teaching is delivered in an increasingly busy working environment. His research interests include abdominal and oncological imaging.
